The foreground is very nice. But I have to be honest and say that the cliff and rocks in the background appear oversharpened with really strong halos. Also I'm wondering why you chose f/4...I'm thinking that maybe a narrower aperture would've given you a sharper image. Not to say that one can't use f/4, but it's not common unless you want to exaggerate depth of field (which I don't see here) or if you tripodless and need a faster exposure time.
Anyways, I think you got the black and white tonalities dialed in pretty well in the image. I very much like the strong contrast.

did you adjust the contrast and brightness??? It almost looks a little wierd toward the point. The trees and stuff... The Land... But other than that, I like the water...

Wonderful black and white.
The foggy/cloudy water, which I'm assuming is from a long exposure, is almost like a ghost covering the rocks and sand, as though it's just a dried up lake of some sort.
The details/edges around the land to the top right seem a little over sharpened.

Great capture, I like the ghostly smooth effect the water has and how it looks foggy. And the sky not being the same shade adds to the effect.

You've done it again darlin! This shot is BEAUTIFUL especially in the black & white. A little more...gloomy...than most of your shots but nonetheless spectacular. I expect many more photos for me to see when I return from Europe
