Description Oil on 18" x 24" canvas glued to hardboard. River Springs, an area of farmland and woods intersected by a network of creeks that empty into the Potomac River, is at the heart of the Seventh District of St. Mary’s County, Maryland, In the 20th century, this remote and tight-knit community was home to the largest concentration of wooden boat builders in the southern part of the state. Apart from the occasional skiff, commercial wooden boat building here is now a thing of the past.

Hi roundtower, it is always a pleasure and a fun thing to hear from you and the group, I am working on a bachelors degree in graphic design and keep pretty busy, I do have art works in progress, but sadly I am a slow project completer but will stay tuned in with Special Groups. I keep seeing footage of Spain on the History and Discovery channel it looks beautiful and I know it has produced some great artists, Diego Valisquez from the 17th century? I will be working on a watercolor today,
thank you and have a good week...

Thank you very much for adding my old boats and ships to your collections, I am glad there are still those out there that enjoy nautical related art works...

Thank you much, there are times when studio painting I am spending more time letting parts of the painting dry than actually painting, again, thank you for noticing....

You welcome. I think we all do that. Sometimes I pick a day to finish some paintings.
