been awhile since i read the myst books. i dont know if the randler brothers have released the book of mariam. a google search or amazon would let you know.
"The Myst Reader" is a collection of all the myst books exept the final and unreleased one. i think thats the book of mariam.
but you know what there is also the Bible that the myst books were highly motivated from

i re-read my comment...allow me to clarify. the myst reader contains all must books except one. the only one it does not contain is the one that will not be released. the author of myst is fed up with legal issues concerning the title MYST. he has said some time in the future he might release a related MOVIE, but most likely nothing to do with myst.
so we're screwed if we want the final book. its not comming out.
although, if you want new myst content, there is a video game service that allows you to play MystURU Live. its a game that failed long ago but now theyre including it in the game service. the service is [link]

I believe it was rand miller who said the movie would not be about myst, but still contain many myst-like features and themes. just not the name nor characters. but that was possibly four years ago as far as i know. i have an idea the movie will come out though, perhaps they are secretly filming it.
i recently saw a beautiful movie called "300". that movie blew me away, its so artistic and elegant. the movie is about these highly trained warriors using their hearts and mind to go up against huge armies. the atmosphere of the movie is quite myst-like in my opinion.
