Description
This was done for the Battle Artist colorist competition.I'm only three hours late on the deadline, hope that doesn't disqualify me, but hey, at least people get to see some artz. I haven't uploaded anything since i've moved to my new location i think.

I used the flats supplied by which was really nice of him, even if i did find a few loose pixels here and there.

Love your treatment on the scythe. I was trying for something like that but couldn't quite get it to work to my satisfaction.

it seems to me that you emphasized the cutting edge of the scythe/axe/polearm/whatthehellisit where as I emphasized the flatness of the blade and the texture of the metal.
For what it's worth, the blades in your piece read better than mine, I should have made mine lighter.

I fail at metal texture so hard.
The recent comic book I've been coloring has a bunch of scenes inside a smelter plant and I just want to tear my hair out. XD
