[Grapple Droideka]

The Grapple Droideka, or the Melee Destroyer Droid, was an early variant of the already deadly Droideka. Developed as the ultimate Melee Unit, the Grapple Droideka was used during the Trade Federation's blockade and subsequent Invasion of Naboo in 32 BBY. The Melee Destroyer Droid was tougher than the standard Droidekas, but utilized much weaker shields....

[Chameleon Droid]

The Chameleon Droid, a variant of the Arakyd Industries' Spelunker Probe Droid, was a type of Mine-Laying Droid used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. First used during the Ambush on Ilum, where they mined and heavily destroyed the Ilum Crystal Caves, albeit taking many casualties. The droids also saw use during the Confederacy's Subjugation of Ryloth, as well as the Battle of Felucia during the Outer Rim Sieges. after the Clone Wars, all Chameleon Droids were deactivated...

[LR-57 Combat Droid]

The LR-57 Combat Droid, also known as the Retail Caucus Droid, Retail Droid, and the Mine Droid, was a type of Droid used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. They were first used During the Battle of Christophsis, these Orange-Colored Retail Droids were used as Guards of the Energy Shield Projector. When Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano nadvertently stumbled into a droid minefield on their approach to disable the generator, several of the droids broke through the ground where they had been waiting and met them in defense. After The Clone Wars, The LR-57 was deactivated....

[Scorpenek Annihilator Droid]

The Scorpenek Annihilator Droid was a type of droid Created by the Colicoid Creation nest, and utilized by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, then, later on, in 9 ABY by the Pyke Syndicate. In essence a much larger version of the Droideka Created by the Colicoid Creation Nest, the Scorpenek was armed with 2 Dual Rapid-Fire Laser Cannons. It also carried a combination Particle-Energy Shield Generator, which was similar to the shield produced by the annihilator's smaller cousin. Because of this extra shield, droidekas would position themselves inside the annihilator's shield for more protection...
