Working on the design for the Xilien race for The Arrogance of Man. Now before you stone me for this concept design as heresey to the godzilla universe, let me explain. Basically, i'm trying to combine elements of the Xiliens from both Final Wars, the Showa era, and also a bit of my own spin from what I've seen in other sci fi. The Xilien race is a race that lived just as any other sapient life form in the galaxy. Along the way of their existence, they begin to enhance themselves with cybernetics to help them survive on their cold, dead world. More on their origins will come soon.
I made them humanoids much like the showa era, but I added the crest on their skulls, which is similar to the crest that they had in Final Wars, where they looked mostly like machines. I even took the liberty to give them a bit of a sickly pale skin color. Their skin color may change to a different hue, but will remain pale. I hope to get a cybernetic appearance for their upper bodies to get a feel on how they will look in the future. Remember, this the Xiliens in a pre-cyber era.
