This is a beautiful artwork. I like how you've drawn and colored the characters, and their expressions convey their emotions so well. We can see that Dashie is sad and disappointed about Cloudsdale not being chosen, and that her father feels sympathy for her in her distress at the news. The way the light touches them, adding that little gleam to their eyes and manes is such a nice touch, and I like the atmosphere you've created here with the grayish sky and the soft clouds. It sort of looks like a heart can be seen on the upper left - a subtle use of symbolism referencing the father's love for his daughter, as he stays by her side to comfort her through her disappointment, perhaps? This is so sweet. Wonderful piece.
