• Well, here we go for the 3rd time lucky! As I said in the 2nd edition of this image : “… unless I can find the original negative, and get around to scanning it and find that it is actually better, then this is the best I can offer at the moment.” Well, I FINALLY found the negative, and now it’s been done with the new scanner. I think this is a bit of an improvement over the others. Not so scratchy looking, and the overall look is much better, colouring wise.
For those of you who didn’t see the other images, it is of course, Sonic & Sally at Sega World, back when it existed at Darling Harbour in Sydney.

• You should be able to get a short little video here of Sonic & Sally walking around at Sega World. As in people dressed as them. If the file uploaded correctly.

• In an old article in Sega MegaZone about Sega World, back in June 1995, they said that “Visitors enter the park through a huge area based on the Green Hill Zone from the Sonic The Hedgehog games.”
Perhaps the surrounding area was supposed to have a similar feel to it maybe. The model image they had in the mag looked pretty similar to how the area became at the time too. At that stage the place hadn’t been built though.

• UPDATE!
I have an updated version of the video I mentioned, which my Dad recorded of Sonic & Sally. You can get it from my web site: jmk.drag.net.au/SonicVideo.htm…
The new version has better contrast, a higher resolution, and runs at 50 Hz.
Please load the site from the level up (which is the top), if you want to get to other stuff, so the side menu will load. Also, try to only download the video once, as my site has data transfer limits, I’m pretty sure.
