Description Found this tree standing alone the volcano Mt. Eden in Auckland, New Zealand. Unfortunately I didn't have my nice camera with me, so the quality isn't the greatest, but I still think this is worth sharing.

A photo captures a window into a time and place.
The artist may be able to return to the place but the time will never be the same.
In that way, photos are amazing.

Thanks guys! I don't think I could recapture it if I tried. A storm was coming, the sky was tinted a strange blueish-gray, and there was a gap in the clouds that let some sunlight through directly on the tree. I've kicked myself ever day for not having my Nikon with me, but I'm glad you both like it just the same.
