When Revenge of the Island first aired, I didn't really like Jo that much though I did think that she was at least more deserving of being a finalist than Lightning. Nowadays, I view her as a "Meh" character which doesn't mean that I like her just that my opinion of her has improved somewhat. That said, I wouldn't be against her returning for another season as I do think she has some potential (especially if she were ever be on-screen with Eva).

Also, I've learned to appreciate Jo more after watching MacArthur in The Ridonculous Race as the aforementioned to me always struck me as a poor man's version of Jo (which is an opinion that has proven to piss off many of the irrational members of the show's fandom) except if they were somehow able to make her more unlikable (and annoying thanks to her cringe worthy toilet humor related gags) despite being one of the "Protagonists" yet giving her moments of acting more like a villain than the season's real antagonists (such as when she intentionally dropped Sanders down the tunnel as fast as she did which definitely counts as her crossing the Moral Event Horizon even if the part with Sanders' arm being broken was accidental). In other words, MacArthur was basically the show saying "Jo could've been worse".
