you are amazing. you would risk your social status just so victims around Canada have a fighting chance. You are a blessing on earth. No one deserves to die because people refuse to see the wonder of a person. I bless you and all who support your cause. Thanks, really, but I'm not in any way after recognition. This piece and all I've done pertaining to anti-bullying is free for download to anyone who wants to use it for anti-bullying literature or what have you. I'm donating (time permitting) any and all request design work for it free of charge to use in anti-harassment and anti-bullying campaigns. Look. I'm going to be flat out honest. She shouldn't have flashed those people in the first place. It was a momentary lapse of reason. But what took it to its own unneeded caliber of horror was the way it haunted her. The way that those monsters never let up and just let her move on. I used to be a bully myself. It's really something I'm not proud of. Because after all is said and done, what does it get you in the end? Nothing. It only makes people afraid of you. I've moved on from that of course. And you know what? I also used to be the victim! It made me feel powerless that I couldn't do anything and that the teachers put up this bullshit facade of rainbows and lollipops when in reality the bullying is only escalating and leads to multiple suicides. I've moved on from that as well. But for her to actually go to the extent of drinking bleach and lying in a ditch and for people to make a facebook page called "Bitch Please, Do you Even Amanda Todd?" And post pictures of memes, bleach, and ditches and forcing her into a state of madness, making her finally snap and take her own life? THAT is a degree of both stupidity and atrocity unmatched by any bully out there! I would give a long-winded speech about wanting to be there for her, for any victim out there at all, but it's off-topic to this post. That's all I have to say.

No, she probably shouldn't have, Like most people she wante3d acceptance and used what she thought she "had" to earn her respect and acceptance. Most people don't think far enough ahead about the consequences of what they do. Thanks for your input.

Not a problem. I could understand her wanting acceptance, it was a stupid mistake. Yes, I won't lie. She goofed on her part. But for people to viciously tear her to shreds? Unnecessary! Absolutely unnecessary!

In most areas authorities are still deciding how to label and deal with it. I'm not sure about federal in the US, but here in Canada they're trying to make it an indictable (our equivalent) offence.

I tried to understand human stupidity a long time ago and I nearly went nuts. People thought she was entertainment. Her action was just a desire to be accepted but many teenagers are basically animals and she never deserved to be ripped apart like that over a small slip in common sense.

I've had a chance to get to know Amanda's mom over Facebook in the last year doing some odd consulting for her. Some of the venom from the trolls she gets are far worse.

Her death isn't just worth it. I am so sorry that the world lost one beautiful girl. She looks so innocent and cute. Her story is much more painful than I thought. Everytime I think about her, I was like: Oh my God, how can one person can make another person die? My mom and I thought if she blocked him, or report him, she could've made such nice fortune. It's funny how everyone changes when Amanda died. I just wanted to cry so hard.

Whenever I think of Amanda Todd's story, I cry. It's so sad that she only had only made 2 mistakes and people taunted her for the rest of her life. It's not okay to bully somebody to death. I just can't believe that there are people who actually think it's okay to do this, to tear destroy somebodies self esteem and to make them want to die. It's one thing if somebody tries to commit suicide once, but if somebody tries to commit suicide twice isn't okay. It's just so sad that her tormentors followed her everywhere, and that the only way to make everything stop is to take away her own life.
I just hope that she's in some place where she's loved and appreciated.
Rest in Peace, Amanda Todd. Although you're gone, you'll never be forgotten.

I found out her story I think last year in October, I had tears in my eyes and cried. She was a darling
beautiful angel girl who was going to have a bright future until her days went pitch black. To the bullies of
her, you are the work with the devil little,who should be damned to hell for your actions against god! I just wish if
I had a time machine I would prevent something like this, I could've been her friend and at least help her.
