still thinking about if I had left it just a pen drawing...I thought of snapping a photo before I put any color into it, but just kept working and it was soon too late

Funny you mention that because when I hear about depression the only colors that come to mind are black and blue.

Yeah, in your case it is black and blood red , but you know what? Blue is depressing with black, at least red insinuates action (violence or lust) and you use it well.

I have to say, your art has a natural feel to it in the way you convey your emotions. With other artists here it's mostly just imagination without feeling or experience, so when someone can illustrate from their core - pretty much what you do - it adds intensity and one can safely state that it does reach out and touches the viewer. I appreciate that kind of work.
