The cursed tank of the Eastern Front, crewed by the dead and the damned. Inspired by the Russian tank porno 'White Tiger''(which got everything but the titular SdKfz 181 mostly right. FFS they had an ACTUAL T-34/76, blink and you'll miss it amidst the mass of 85mm gun T-34's in it. Compare that to the movie 'Breakthrough', the sequel to 'Cross of Iron' which had the mockup of a T-34/76 built atop a rail car. 'White Tiger'' has British Matildas as 'unidentified Romanian tank', an entire row of Sveroboys. And yet, what was the chassis they used for the Tiger, a T-55? T-62?? A BMP??*) and the novel 'Tiger Tracks' by Wolfgang Max Faust.

*Thanks to commenters I now know it was an IS-2.
FFS. They actually had full-scale working replicas of the Tiger 1 in Russia, yet they used a Stalin. I wish I knew some War Thunder or World of Tanks catchphrases.
