One of your best works in shading, in my opinion. He doesn't look so scary because of his appearance but more so because he seems to have more of a ready air of purpose about him than most of the others in your gallery. If that makes much sense.. O_o Perhaps less in the "this is a mental representation of your darkside" and more "I'm in your closet, waiting for you to open it and pull you in with me right now" sense..
