Description I saw this one while I was playing with my dog and thought it was absolutely adorable! I just had to take a pic! I was recently informed that he is in fact an Imperial moth caterpillar. I especially love the little blue spots on his side, I hope the pic is big enough to see them! oh, and please forgive the lame title

Lucky you for being able to find that in your garden...
Definitely not a Tomato Hornworm! The Tomato Hornworm has no hair and it feeds on... tomatoes (and related plants).
This is an Imperial Moth caterpillar (Eacles imperialis. It will soon leave the plant and go under the soil in order to transform into a pupa, and in next Spring it will be a beautiful moth: [link]
