Description Marcos and Rafael were friends since childhood. They grew up together, studied at the same school, played soccer on the same team and shared many dreams and adventures. But one day, everything changed. A car accident took the life of one of their girlfriends, Ana.

She was driving with Marcos when a drunk driver hit them head-on. Marcos survived with minor injuries, but Ana died on the spot. Rafael was devastated by the news. He had been dating Ana for two years and they were planning to get married soon. He felt like he had lost his soulmate and his future. He blamed himself for not being with her that night. He also blamed Marcos for surviving and for taking Ana away from him. He stopped talking to Marcos and isolated himself from everyone. Marcos felt guilty and helpless. He wanted to comfort Rafael and to mourn Ana together, but Rafael pushed him away. He missed his friend and his girlfriend. He felt alone and lost. He tried to reach out to Rafael several times, but Rafael ignored his calls and messages.

One day, he decided to visit Rafael in person. He knocked on his door, but there was no answer. He tried the handle and found it unlocked. He entered the apartment and saw Rafael lying on the couch, surrounded by empty bottles and pills. He looked pale and lifeless. Marcos panicked and ran to him. He checked his pulse and felt a faint beat. He called 911 and performed CPR on him until the paramedics arrived. They took Rafael to the hospital and told Marcos to wait outside.

Marcos prayed for Rafael’s recovery and hoped that he would forgive him. He realized that he loved Rafael more than a friend. He had always felt a special bond with him, but he had never admitted his true feelings. He wondered if Rafael felt the same way or if he hated him. He waited anxiously for hours until a doctor came out and told him that Rafael was stable but in a coma. He asked if he could see him and the doctor nodded.

Marcos followed him to Rafael’s room and saw him lying on a bed, hooked to machines and tubes. He looked so fragile and vulnerable. Marcos approached him slowly and took his hand gently. He whispered in his ear: “I’m sorry, Rafael. I’m so sorry for everything. Please wake up. Please don’t leave me. I need you. I love you.” He leaned in and kissed him softly on the cheeks. He felt a warm tear roll down his cheek and land on Rafael’s face. He pulled back and saw Rafael’s eyes flutter open slightly. He looked at Marcos with a mix of confusion and recognition. He squeezed his hand weakly and whispered back: “I love you too.” They smiled at each other and hugged tightly, feeling each other’s heartbeat and breath. They cried together, releasing their pain and guilt. They apologized to each other and promised to never let go again. They hugged again, feeling a new hope and happiness in their hearts.
