A bit of a note: would it be possible to arbitrarily rotate the columns?
That way the same single duplicated column can look like different ones since you're not seeing the same side of it repeated.

The answer is yes I will be rotating the columns, should have done it before making the screen shot but you know how it is.

It's always nice to be on the same wavelength; it takes away the awkwardness of ME giving YOU critiques (which feels strange).

I tried rotating the pillars yesterday but to little effect. The pattern on the pillars repeats quite closely
so turning em doesn't make much difference, maybe erosion on some of them would do the trick.
The learning process goes on.Β
