Description Game of Thrones fanmade House, the House Crossmen.

600 years ago the Freys rise began by builting  two near-identical towers and a fortified bridge over the Green Fork of the River Trident. This enormous constructed bridge would be known as the Twins, or by its other not-so-known name the Crossing. To built this bridge it took three generation forth of gold, blood, sweat and tears. During its construction however, there was a man who would built a name for himself AND for his future generation. Oldwerin Cross was a man, a peasent with bad habit of gambling, drinking and pit fighting. However he was a honest worker, a stonemason in fact. His huge debts in his younger years got him trouble with the Freys and instead of paying or exectued he decided to work the the Twins as his punishment. Next 40 years (and rest) of his life he would stone by stone help to create this bridge. Unlike other men and women he went through heaviest storms, coldest winters, scroching summers and darkest nights to pay away his debt. He would die before he could pay his debt or see the finishing of Twins. Oldborn Cross his son would continue his work for next 27 years till he died via accident, falling to the freezing river. His son Koldwin Cross would follow suit to continue paying the debt as did his father and grandfather. It was until Oldwin Crosses Great grandson Brittling Cross would be the one who see the debt paid as the Twins stood in all its glory. To honor his predecessors mainly his Great grandfather Brittling Cross married one of (at the time) the Lord Frey's bastard daughters which eventually led him to be raised in nobility (by paying the Freys and swearing fealty to them). '
And so to honor his Great grandfather who helped to built the Twins/Crossing. Brittling Cross became call himself and his children Crossmen of House Crossmen of the Green Fork.
