lol no problem and you calling my name really freaked me out .

I drew like 90 water lilies in my latest drawing but they are not the same with yours.
I hope I can reach the same stage of skill as you are now.

Wow, i adore this piece. You're giving old Vincent a run for his money! hahaha
How long did it take you to complete?

Thank you very much. Vincent is a hero of mine , for sure. This drawing took about 5 hours. I do a lot of digital photography and I took dozens of shots around Big Island Lake in Northern Minnesota. This would be a scene from there. The white hightlights in that drawing as with others I do sometimes is my whiteout pen. Available at Staples for $.99 ha ha.
Thanks again,
John

Oh this is cool! I love the way you get into realism with coloured pencil. What coloured pencils do you use?

I use prismacolors. Thanks for asking.

Thanks! They ROCK! They are still my favorites though I'm now starting to collect and compare other brands and find different uses for other brands. I eventually want to have large sets of several major brands: Derwent, Faber-Castell Polychromos, Lyra Rembrandt, Caran d'Ache Pablo, and some watercolor pencils in large sets. One thing I'm looking for is nonduplicate colors in other artist grade colored pencils to create a comparison chart that'll extend my range.

I'm pretty good with a variety of mediums but colored pencils have been my favorite for a long, long time.
