I've been wanting to draw Gran Mamare x Fujimoto since the movie but I've been trying to draw OTHER fanart since I already have a bunch of ponyo already e__e but my brain seems to be on strike. Oh well, at the very least I love Fujimoto
These two are strangely one of my favorite anime couples ewe Went for something a little different.
1.) non-serious faces for once D<
2.) Light, fluffy color scheme and low shading.
3.) simplified eyes?? whut?? o3o

This is so adorable!
I absolutely love the colors and light shading - especially Fujimoto's hair. It looks so shiny and fluffy! And the colors are great; a light color scheme is perfect for this scene. The bright highlights really give the piece a happy feel. The whole thing makes me feel all warm and fuzzy!
Oh, and Fuji's face is just freakin' adorable! XD

D'awwwwwwwwww, that's a lovely picture!! I love the coloring. And Fuji/Mamare is one of the CUTEST, sweetest, most awesome couples EVAR! *gasps* +3 They were without a doubt the best part of the movie, even though I loved the whole thing. First off, this is very sweet. The light colouring is great and their expressions are awesome.
Two things. Fujimoto's right shoulder seems a little long, and his left a little short, because his right shoulder is further from us, right? (correct me if I'm wrong)
Also, something seems out of proportion with Gran Mamare's head. I think it might be the way that the right side (her right side) of her hair seems a little too puffed out considering that it is, again, further from us.
