This is Ito-Sensei from "先生!" by Kawahara Kazune (same author as High School Debut). It's a story about a young high student who falls in love with her older, serious-minded teacher, who's rather jaded about love. Since it's more realistic and serious it's more of Josei (aimed at young women) than a Shojo.

As Kawahara was writing this series, her artwork really improved! Sad thing is that the art in the first books of this series are very sketchy so many people pass over it thus it won't likely ever be licensed and translated into English.

I might just be a lonely biased fan, but I love this series, the characters, and the stories. I love the way Kawahara writes people ;u;

I've been reading this series since 2003-ish, slowing reading it as it's slowly translated by other fans (never mind that I own half the series in Japanese).

Anyhow I started reading the series again having found out someone translated more of it ;u; I wanted to draw a little something for it as well ...even though it won't likely be appreciated by most TTwTT
