Description I'm trying to "loosen up" my style a little bit and not worry so much about making things look super "realistic." I've been influenced by the style of lately (please visit her page if you haven't already... she is amazing!).

What lovely pastel colors and beautiful Β brush strokes ! What brush setting did you apply to achieve this look? It has this traditional mixed media look to it, which I love. I also love that there's artists on here who are not afraid to with darker toned characters which is a welcomed change to the 'pale hegemony' in deviantart, which is one of many reasons i also love Loish's art.

What a cute character!
Sometimes it's good to loosen up and get a bit cartoony. Β It makes for a nice change of pace, and offers a bit more freedom than strict realism.
