Yeah you read well, only one. This was one of the last drawing I colored in only one layer before I figured out how to use many Should have figured that out way earlier XD

I think both versions look great. What I notice about the traditonal, though, is that the dark-colored hair is slightly lighter and it's easier to see the lines and details in it - though, as I said before, scanners are notorious for lightening things unless you're good at messing with settings. And that wasn't a diss at all, both versions really do look great. You're just that good!

Umm... When I do gradients I do it manually, I don't know how to command a gradient... I suck at every paint programs XD

Here how I work...
I don't read the intruction and discover new things everytime. It's fun but sometimes I realise there was a much easier way to do something I've been spending hours to do way faster

yeah you need both. at least from what I see people doing when they're doing a livestream they do both

But I think on most programs people do that too. I just never took the time to learn about it XD

don't worry, I was like that at the beggining
I only used 2 layers, 1 for the sketch and other for the color. now...I don't even count them
