you still can draw with mouse and get fine line and clean lineart with pen tool.

You have done your lineart just fine

I asked the same question to this one deviant two years ago and this is what she told me:

"Being neater is, eventually, all up to you The thing is, you'll be able to put a ton of detail into your lines, and not have them blur up..

So mm... I guess an example would be... try drawing an equal sign on a tiny piece of paper like this: =

You would have to squeeze those lines pretty close together right? Cause you have a tiny piece of paper, and you're working with those lines so close together...

Now imagine that you can draw that equal sign in a BIIIIIG piece of paper...

________

________

More room for you to draw, right? It's easier! And because you're doing it digitally, you can just scale down the lineart to a smaller size, and poof! You'll have a small equal sign again, but the lines will be crisper because you're compressing reallly big lines into really small ones More information into less information!

I hope that makes sense XD"

Ah, i see now *nod
So for instance if you draw in an A3 sized paper then scale it down to A4 then the lineart will look crisper

On to the next question;
1. did you draw your bg lineart on a separate layer apart from the character?

2. is theres a way to draw perfectly straight lines in PS? (as if you're using a ruler) because i need that to check the perspectives, drawing buildings etc

Thank you your comment are really helpful to me.

For your first question: I would draw my bg lineart separately because I can draw straight or curves without worrying about my character lineart being ruined.

Second: On photoshop, there's a lot of tools and tricks for perspective and drawing lines and curves but I can't explain it all But I can tell you my preferred tools
If you get too lazy to draw any lines, I would go to PS and use a tool call the pen tool. [link]
If you just wanted straight lines with a brush, hold shift, click once at a point and click the end point and you should get a straight line. If you click, hold, and drag while also holding shift, you would get either a horizontal line or vertical line.

It can be very confusing but when you start playing around with it, you will understand

ah, pen tool!

Finally a tool i'm familiar with.
(i'm used to work with pentool in vector applications)
Yeah! i'll try on it and post the pentool outlined lineart.

Thank you for your response! It's really appreciated I hope you don't get bored answering more of my questions
