Something spooky for a change!

If you remember my previous journal about my three new story ideas www.deviantart.com/jojodragone… , this is the third one: the sci-fi/thriller story!

I had this idea since last spring and the ideas kept coming since, especially for the main character. So meet my new characters for my new story idea: Cassandra's Monster!

Cassandra (Cassie for short ^^), is a nerdy 20 years old college girl fascinated by science-fiction and who is heavily influenced by social media and the Politically Correct. In real life, she is a shy, introvert girl but online, she is the perfect example of a bad extremist Social Justice Warrior who's always looking to cancel anyone who did something that she thinks is "offensive" (for her, she thinks homophobia is worse than the devil). Since a bad event that happened when she was a teenager, she strongly believes that justice isn't real and everyone who isn't "politically correct" shoul be cancelled. However, when she will investigate some strange events in her town related to a mysterious creature, she will quickly learn that when people try to control others to make them act the way you want, they're no better than the people they're trying to denounce.

The Monster behind her doesn't have a name and is just referred as "The Monster" or "The Creature" (To make it more creepy, I decided to keep his origins a mystery, so it can be free of interpretation ^^ ) and even tough it's genderless, it goes by "He" or "It" pronouns. This Monster appeared years ago in Cassandra's hometown and he is currently kept in a laboratory where the government is trying to find a way to kill it. It can create a black slime substance that acts like parasites that can control their host so the Monster, who acts like a hivemind, can make them it's minions.

I am not really used to draw creepy stuff, but it's good to get out of my comfort zone sometimes!^^ So get ready for more content of Cassandra and The Monster in the future!
