Hiroki has got a new PC game: The Code, where you have to create your own army to fight a supercomputer, which is controlled by a dangerous group of teenagers.

Yumi "freezes" when she knows the story, and thinks it's too much casualty. It's like their story... from XANA's point of view. The gang researches on the Web, to find out that the game is very recent, popular worldwide, and its developers are a mystery. Furthermore, it's so addictive it causes severe behavior disorders to their players. The headquarters is in Japan, near Takahashi.

Jeremy launches the superscanner and finds Replika activity in that zone: XANA is free again. Overwhelmed by the surprise, he tries to contact with Franz Hopper, but there's no trace of him. He didn't die, because, if he did, Jeremy would know.

While going to thre Replika, the Digital Sea is calmer than usual. The suspense disappears when XANA attacks the Core, and Skid turns around 180 degrees back to Lyoko.

That night, Yumi looks into her brother's room, worried. He's dreaming about playing again. At the same time, Aelita stares at the sky through her window, wondering why would her father disappear again, while Jeremy promises that he will do his best to find him.
