Been wanting to draw something like this for a long time. No context given, since the story is actually private.

In fact, I don't really know what to do with these illustrations. I've been considering the idea of... not posting RH illustrations on social media anymore. Except maybe character designs and I guess memes. In fact, I might put these on storage one day.

The fact that publishers usually don't appreciate stuff being posted online before it is sent to them -I want to publish Regulus Harbor traditionally, physical books and everything- was always a factor, but... especially now that nearly all social media have become content farms for feeding AI, and now that DA has completely turned its back on "organic" artists while bowing to the mindless hype, I've lost nearly all motivation to post here at all. This is also why I finally started using a logo in my art. Even though it doesn't help much. But my art is mine. Not yours. And this has gone way too far.

Just yesterday I saw DA's official account using bloated numbers to hype a fucking AI "artist" that produces posts like hot cakes and sells them like they were NFTs. It's all vapor, it weighs nothing. I do think it will come crashing down eventually but at this point it's clear the staff doesn't give three shits about artistry. And I mean, the red flags are not always red, are they? But they're all suspicious.

I don't know what to do. I think I'll stop posting actual chapter illustrations here. Only RH character designs from now on, if any. Digimon art will remain as usual though. Cause if Bandai sued AI idiots it'd be the funniest thing ever. I guess the mood of this drawing is appropriate to how I feel about this place... It really did fall out of grace, didn't it. The soul was gone a long time ago. Now, it's nothing but a husk. Just like a gloomling! Kind of.
