I decided to do stuff like this since I occasionally get very bored doing my regular thing.Figured I'd go back and take select manga pages from Dragon Ball and redo them in my style. ORIGINALITY!~

Whoa, this is really cool! I love your Gohan the most, I think. Frieza looks a lot more intimidating - if he'd looked like that, he might've actually gotten a male voice actor XD

Well, it seems in Dragon Ball Kai, he does have a male voice actor.
I have an issue with the Kai voices though because...well, I'm used to all the old ones from the original Funimation dub <.<

They butchered Android 18, Bulma, and kid Gohan. The upside of Kai is that it moves a lot faster than the original anime.

Haha, yeah, I figured it'd be fun and interesting to do. I love Dragon Ball on it's own, but sometimes I wanna see what it would be like in different styles.

That is true, I'm doing it. I've been working a lot on my shading starting to understand it more and been working on my female and environment more so you will see more background work coming.

nice try. The last panel is more dynamic in the original, why changing it with a regular view ?

Probably the stupidest reason to give for changing it, my skill level with this style is still novice. I kept having issues with the lower body. I kept trying to recreate the last panel as it was, but I got entirely too frustrated and just went with a close up shot, hoping that the joy/evil nature would show through the expression.
This was one of my first drawings in this particular style.

and you did it with the other panel (songohan) which looks really good, so you'll be able to do it soon i'm sure.
keep up this idea to re-draw something, it helps a lot and it develops your imagination.

I practice every single day and hone my skills as much as possible.
This re-draw thing was actually a one off, but I am thinking about making it a regular thing to take a famous drawing and re-do it in my style.

I like using my own style these days. I used to use Akira Toriyama's style ALL THE TIME and it was fun for a while, but you can't evolve when that's all you draw.

I totally understand you. Though, I always have been using my own style but it still would be nice to be able to draw with Akira's style whenever I would feel like it, but then again, I'm happy about my own style because I have heard that it's kind of unique.

Oh, thank God! I usually warn peoples about my arts because most of them haven't been yaoi fans / accept yaoi, but then again, there also has been peoples who have no problems with yaoi / supports it
