Another addition to my 'When They Grow Up' series where I depict the Grossology kids as adults and at their new jobs. This time I depict Abby Archer as a forensic investigator. Now, I know what you're thinking; Isn't Abby's long hair a huge inconvenience for this line of work? To that I say; Abby's hair was never convenient for Grossology work either! Abby's hair isn't meant to be realistic, its just an aestetic choice to make her look more distinct and to me an Abby Archer without her long hair is like a Mickey Mouse without round ears, it just dosen't feel right.
I had a couple of ideas as to what Abby could be when she grows up. A parasitologist, a biology professor but I thought forensic scientist would be the most fitting as she not only has the know-how for it but also a strong sense of right & wrong.

Abigail 'Abby' Archer is now around 30 years old and works as a forensic scientist (aka a criminalist or lead detective) at the Ringworm City's Police Department. She has a Bachelor's degree in science from Grey Matter University and is well respected by her collegues as her work has led to the arrest of many guilty and the pardon of many innocent. She's happily married, has two children and her husband work close to home (hint, hint).
