Thank you! I can't do portraits at all, I always have the struggle of drawing the face shape...oh and lets not forget the struggle of drawing the eyes to look equal! But thank you

Yeah! Definitely! When I doodle, I tend to draw only faces & facial features, which is why I can do them semi-decently x3 But anything with further anatomy, forget it! x3 But as far as symmetry goes, can I ask you to spare a moment? Look up a few screenshots of any anime character(s), or pause a show you're watching and look at it for a minute. Study that(/those) scene(s) for a few moments. Did you notice something? The eyes aren't perfectly symmetrical, are they? ^^ One eye is usually a slightly different shape, or even a different size. Very rarely have I seen an anime character's eyes be perfectly symmetrical. Even the pros don't draw them like that. Drawing them like this adds to the character's expression, and there is great beauty in asymmetry, just as there is in symmetry So I wouldn't worry too much about the eyes being exactly the same (unless that's what you're aiming for style-wise, then by all means ^^)

Ah I see what you are getting at! Yeah I did look that up and you are right. Most were not symmetrical. I am going to try that but ah I guess you can say I am a bit of a symmetry freak. But thank you for the advice. I am going to try and practice that! I will try and answer to your Ao3 comment this weekend. Because God studies is trying to kill me and the teachers are too evil. ;}

Haha, yeah? x3 That's great! ^^ For any art (& I'm sure you know this) you should just do whatever you want to do & should make you happy! ^^ So never ever feel pressured to change, whether you prefer symmetry or asymmetry, cartoon vs. realistic, lineart, sketched or colored pieces... ^^ I think you get it x3
