Typically all you see nowadays are the Transformers in combat, but it's nice to see more monstrous-looking robotics duking it out once in a while.

I've always wondered why they put that triangle thing on three-barreled miniguns, but I imagine it has to do with keeping the barrels from going AWOL while firing.

Having worked on the six barrel model, you're exactly right. Keeps centripetal forces from spreading the barrels when they get hot.

Or, like, turning the minigun into a helicopter because the barrels spin so fast.

This is just one of the many reasons why it's a good idea to use armored vehicles instead of ordinary cars, sudden mech attacks
