i never understood where the name "peach" came from, i've always known her as princess toadstool. ah well

Then you're about 24 years behind. She's ALWAYS been Peach in Japan, but in Super Mario 64, they began calling her that in the localized versions of the games too.

i tend to ignore what people in other countries call their characters, i go by what we got. that and i would probably lay blame on myself since i haven't played anything mario related in about that long lol.

Considering Peach has been seen with her crown off and said crown looks nothing like the Super Crown (a near-featureless solid yellow crown with a big pink-and-white mushroom in the center and a pair of eyes on the front), we don't have to wonder because we already know.

I normally find Peach kind of boring/annoying as a character. This...this is just a fun design and makes her seem a lot more silly and I love it!
