"Yeah, I have a good girl," Hail told his friend, who was next to him. Suddenly, Pity felt sick to his stomach. Before he could even begin to try to cry, the warning bell rang and he said, "I'll be right back, I'm going to the bathroom." Hail acknowledged it with a nod, and with that, Pity raced to the bathroom, hoping Hail would wait. He locked himself into the closest stall he found. The bathroom was empty, so he burst into tears. "Why, why?" he kept asking himself. After a minute of this, he decided he might as well get it over with, and walked back to where Hail was, only to discover that he was walking far ahead. He was not alone. His girlfriend was with him. Pity did not race ahead to him like he would have; he just hung back. All three had their next class together, and Pity sat next to Hail. Naturally, Kyakura, Pity's girlfriend, sat behind him, and he could hear them whispering words of love, but ignored it, sinking into his seat, blushing. There was no chance of telling him now. He would bide his time.
