Description And so there it was.
The blood on the floor, the glass shattered, reflecting the light that still remained.
The bodies lay, close together, smelling of rot already. Only one living figure remained. A gun in his hands, he collapsed into the pile, fainting. The reek had been to much for him.

He awoke later, in a cell.
"Where am I?" he muttered, scratching the back of his head. There were two others with him, in that cell, staring at him.
"Where am I?" he repeated the question, striving for an answer, any answer.
Behind him, he heard a voice, which sounded almost snarling.
"This is prison."
The man whirled around to face the voice. It was a cop.
"W-why am I here?" he demanded.
"On the account of the massacre of more that ten people.." responded the officer. "Don't play dumb and tell me you don't remember what happened." And then he remembered. He had passed out.
"How.. how long ago has it been?" he asked, in a hoarse voice.
"A couple of days. Maybe 5." His eyes widened.
"And you will be sentenced to death soon.. Very soon." the cop said, almost smirking, as if in satisfaction that he was to be put to death. With this, the man ran at the bars, shaking them, as if it would make a difference.
"Let me out of here!" he yelled, pleading.
"No," snarled the officer. "You did the crime; you deserve the fate." The officer, ambled off then, swinging his bat around, not looking back.
The young man in the cell collapsed to the ground and stroked his snow-white hair.
"No.. no.. no.." he muttered to himself, almost in anger.
He realized he needed to get out.
Soon.
If only to see Hail.. he thought, remembering his best friend since.. forever. He was now married, had a job, and children.. Pity, his name was, wiped a tear from his eye, his heart beating quicker.
Yes, he needed to get out.
To see him.
That one person he loved, so dearly..
He looked around, his cell mates quiet. There was an irregular brick sticking out of the wall.
"Has that brick always been like that?" Pity asked, acknowledging the cell mates' existence for the first time.
"I never really noticed." replied a slender female, with white hair, sporting grey tips.
Pity wandered over to the wall, examining it. He touched the brick and found it was jutting out of the wall. He ripped the charcoal black brick out of the wall, and it flew backwards, hitting the cell door.
"What was that!?" he heard someone yell from a foreign place. The officer promptly strode over, examining the cell. He called back,
"It's nothing, John." and the he walked away.
"Listen, I think there's a way out through here," he reported to his cell mates, whispering. "Are we all ready to escape?" he was grinning.
"Yes," hissed the same girl from before, walking over. "But how will we fit through that small little hole?"
"The other bricks are loose," added the other man, who had unnatural red hair with white tips. They all figured they had to pull all the bricks away, and that's what they did..

They snuck out the tunnel.
And then, there was a gunshot.

Pity awoke, gasping, as if feeling the shot.
"Only a dream," he whimpered to himself. "Only a dream.."
He was still in school and Hail hadn't left him yet.
Not yet.
