I've come up with a tree species for tree rex;
Treemus Rexima (rex tree): known for their curved top branches and red bark patches that grow yellow glow-in-the-dark fungi (the bumps on his photosynthesis cannon)

Not to be that smart a hole who corrects on science stuff and not that that's an awesome species, but don't you think that it would be more suitable for tree rex to be a sequoia tree? Or is this species the skylands equivalent to the sequoia tree?

Is it possible that the moss on Tree Rex is meant to look somewhat like the continents on Earth? I quite like how you portrayed them all, especially Wrecking Ball, he is the cutest!
