Trying out more than one shading layer.
There's even a layer for lighting.
Also practicing blood and bruises.
I don't think it's that extreme,
but lemme know of it should be flagged as "mature"

hmmm ... looks like there's too much blood :I
i can see it coming out of his nose/mouth, cus like, he was probably punched there if he was in a fight, but there are places like above his eye and on his head that wouldn't really happen unless someone took a baseball bat to his face, or cut him with a piece of glass.
i also think the bruises on his cheek and forehead look too ... puffy. :c like, i know its a bruise and it would be swollen, but they kind of stick out to where it looks like they're purple balloons on his face. they should "blend" more into the rest of his head and face, if that makes sense ...
