"Distorted Angels"The other day I was watching a documentary about another horrible armed conflict somewhere in this world. Whilst watching the docu on mute, I was listening to Archive's beautiful song 'Distorted Angels' . At the time the song was playing, the screen showed dead, dying and terribly wounded children.
This drawing is dedicated to those children who suffer in armed conflicts all over the world.

You know I think it is a sign of being something beyond simply being an artist when an artist can make such heartwrenching images as well as the silly good fun that is the munen.
I do think it tends to be the children and other civilians that that the cost of war more and more these days.
I wish we could bring back the days of dueling where when someone grieved someone else they simply fought it out and it stayed between them.

This must have taken alot of time to do, the details in the feathers are great.

Actually it took me about 6 hours to complete so it went rather quick. When you clearly have in mind what you want to draw, all you need to do then is just draw it

That's awesome! It's hard when you want things to be done fast, I would have made some really bad looking wings (among other things) on that poor angel

The wings were the easiest, one hour max. But that darn hair.....pfoo, made mine even more gray than it already is!

We were, but I was worried, since they grey hair theme could get so exciting, we could decide to color every grey hair around....and since my angel has some (although it's stone but one can color stone as well), I liked to prevent that from happening you see?
It's funny though, I see loads of teenage girls coloring their hair grey or white and tons of not-teenage-anymore girls coloring theirs all colors except grey.

Oh, that could actually have happened, I colored some towels pretty badly last time... Stone would probably have pretty much the same absorbability, I should think.
Yeah, purple hair is just one of many interesting examples. I've already tried purple hair, so I have no idea what to do when I grow older. Pink?

I recommend to imitate plants so please color it green.
I love plants. To be honest, I have a center for abandoned plants at home. It's quite a jungle here but hey, the poor things are thrown away otherwise.
They can spend their years of old age here.

OMG! I LOVE plants, this will be awesome! I could probably find a nice green shade if I turn into a blonde and then wash my hair at my friend's place, she's got a lot of copper in her water...

One more advantage: your plantish hair will grow at double speed due to the spore elements and minerals!

She would be a star...and with this colorful hair of her, she won't attract boring princes on white horses but artful, creative and great people!
