a gumiho? is that guy supposed to be an Asian American? (that was my first thought when I looked at the pic.) first I was wondering what the fox was doing there, but then I read the title. *hm* *thinking* living in the world of man and yet not really part of it... *hm* originally they are lying, even evil creatures, eh? in Korean legend they need to eat like 100 livers to become human... but recently they've come to be viewed in positive terms, as kind of tragic figures, right? (just trying to interpret what you're trying to say and I guess for a painter the feelings and thoughts of a viewer are kind of interesting. at least I hope so.)
