I've been doing a few portrait sketches recently, just really trying to loosen my drawing style up a little. I tend to get too OCD with my lines being perfect and digitally inking stuff, so I'm challenging myself to do more sketching. Thought I'd post a few of them here, so here's the first.I'm still playing around with shading techniques etc, but I'm enjoying myself so far

I'm still trying to perfect the hatch shading. A lot of artists draw the hatching in the same direction across the image, as it gives a more uniform look. Whereas I was a bit all over the place in this one!
