Another portfolio layout, it's the 3rd version.Time : ~10h

For this one my aim was to design something more simple and clean. I'm such satisfied about the final result.

simplest way = take a grain texture, put it on overlay and set it to bout, 20% then with an erasers, and a soft brush , erase the adges or wherever you want it with a 15% trans.
there are offcourse other ways, but try starting with that ;]

I have to say, your use of texture among the different elements within the site is incredibly simple in a very sophisticated way, bravo! Also the highlighting and shadowing is masterful in this.

Nice design, although I feel the shadow under the jQuery slider is way too dark/heavy. Also, did you design any button rollover states? I'd like to see those
