Generally, it's a beautiful landscape that may cause to the observers lots of feelings and even change the mood of somebody. I believe this, because of the use of calm and erthy colors (green, blue and yellow) with which you have created a semi-realistic forest (if I can call it that way), but mostly because of the way you used these colors...all these little green touches make the trees look real and they accord to the light, the rain looks so majestic and soft with this yellow color that seems like it caresses the trees as it falls down to their roots. I love all your details and the black foreground too. But let's talk about the negative point now. As I said before, I adore the part of the rain on the left where it shines brightly as it flows. It gives a lot to the painting. But I think you sould have passed this "magic" to all the painting rather than keep it there. What I want to say is that you could use yellow a bit more on the trees to make them more shiny and give them a brighter shape, at least there where there's light in them. I also think the water could use some more work...some more shades maybe, to look more realistic. At last, as you said, the perspective is not that correct, as the person who looks at the painting does not know where he stands. It's a little abnormal for the waterfall to have this little distance from the opposite land(where we stand) but ,again, everything is possible. Really nice job and far better than I thought if I bear in mind the little time it took you. Keep up creating! I also wander the image/thing/or whatever inspired you to make this wonderful landscape and what feelings it causes you.
