BLACKEST NIGHT WONDER WOMAN#1 pg 14-15pencils: Nicola Scott

Hey guys sorry it's been so long. Here's some work I picked up on the side over Nicola Scott. For my first time inker her I think I can live with the end result.

hmm well ya definatly didn't do this on a 9.5 x 11 sheet of paper , im starting to think that is the secret to getting in all that detail

well I hated the rough paper she penciled on so it took me way longer than if she had drawn on a smooth surface. You'll see the difference when i can post the double page from issue #2

Heh, thanks man. I HATED the paper, it was super rough and sucked the life out of my brush. I was almost on tears inking this spread..... literally. LOL

well I'm just taking as much as I have time to do. I only did 5 pages on issue one and after I did the pages they said they wished I could have inked the whole thing. Issue 2 they allowed me to use some help so I can safely take on more pages so Marc Deering did 4 pages. I'm hoping that I have time to do issue 3.

Great work man, you had a lot to do on this page! Does Nicola pencil real tight or did she leave you some room to play?

Thanks. Yes she pencils pretty tight but that never stops me from wrecking someone's work 
I I'm not sure if she uses a mechanical pencil or not but for things tend to be a bit stiff or mechanical (but still well drawn). So i just try to add some life or energy to the lines I put down. So in that sense I always find room to play. But I try to stay true to the art.

Thanks. Yeah the hair to what seemed like a lifetime but it had to be right because she does so well with it. Funny thing is I never considered myself great at hair.
