Such gorgeous inking, I'm weeping... how do you ink the expanses of black? Batman in the second to last panel, all of the concealing black on Superman in the last panel, the star-dotted sky - is there any particularly special technique or tool you use? I always find solid sections like that painfully difficult to ink, haha...

This page was the first time I'd actually inked Jim so it didn't feel comfortable right off. A lot of it is how you read what he's put down. There are a million different directions you can interpret his pencils. A testament to his long time inker Scott Williams (true master of the craft). I will say inking Greg made inking Jim easier.

Did you ink over the original art or did you ink over a blue print pencil scann? i can't tell. BTW It looks great. I'm not quite a Lee's fan, his later work is too crowded of unnecesary lines, but you gave some clean and sharpness without losing his style -neither yours-.
