So the stove golem's hand gesture... at first I thought it was a British thing but then I thought perhaps this magic oven creature has a timer! There's just so much about this work that I love.

The storytelling in this piece is incredible. It's a warm painting until you reach the bottom of the canvas and when you scroll up you start noticing plenty of little creepy details that you passed on the first time.

The childrens-book, fairytale style of the painting and the warmness of the first level contrasts wonderfully with the harshness of the second, great concept and brilliant realization.

Interesting! The mood of the top part of the painting seems really happy and cheerful and then you see the bottom half where the poor girl is chained up and the mood drops like a hudnred degrees! Whats she doing down there? Really great piece
