This is my favorite of the whole series. I had to debate between this one and Rachel 06, but in the latter, the tree overshadowed her in the composition. The other photos, for me were too tightly cropped. This picture seems more relaxed and natural, which is a big plus in a photo portrait, especially one of an attractive young woman. Also this picture displays here whole form, without it dominating the composition and making this a figurative piece as opposed to a portrait.

i realize that i am a very closely cropped photographer... and sometimes i try to break away from that because it leads to problems in printing... not just in the tension of the photograph. i do it for a reason though and sometimes it's successful and other times it's not... i do need to experiment with the whole form in photographs and i thank you for reminding me to keep myself on edge...

that bush with the flowers is kind of distracting...

like it's out of place.

yeah... i was debating whether to leave the plant in there or not.
i decided to leave it because i liked the windows. lol
