The Far from Home trailer has me pumped. I'm so excited to finally see Mysterio on the big screen, he is one of my top favorite spiderman villains, the suit looks fantastic (very comic accurate) and you couldn't have asked for a better actor than Jake Gyllenhaal, dudes a powerhouse, I can't wait to see what he brings to this role. SO PUMPED!!!

My theory is that Mysterio is a S.H.I.E.L.D agent who reverse engineered Asgardian technology and possibly did study some form of mysticism (not unlike Dr. Strange) but lacked the true talent Strange did.
Thus he took what he was able to learn and merged it with the Asgardian tech he reverse engineered to make it seem like he has magic powers.

No as it turns out He's from another Earth uh Earth 833 along with those Elementals Spider Man Far From Home introduces multiverse to the MCU but it's not the first time for People who read comics they know the MCU has been in the marvel multiverse before the Young Avengers traveled to it AKA Earth 199999 in YA Vol.2 #8 along with Earth 616 Loki as for how the Elemantals get to the MCU it was one of the snaps that brought them there oh and Earth 833 is real in the Comics it's the Home to the UK Spider Man.

Guessing tech, mostly holographic and hallucinogenic gasses. But I suppose you never know.

Ditto. He's a bold choice amongst Spider-Man's Rogues, and I hope they do him justice just like they did with the Vulture. Looks like they may also sneak in a MCU Hydro-Man and Sandman alongside him, just like Vulture picked up the Shocker and Tinkerer.
What I'm really wondering is: who the heck are they going to do next though? The Scorpion? Beetle? Chameleon? Kraven the Hunter?

Maybe an idea to bring together the Sinister Six for the third installment, if Mysterio survives, and if Marvel studios is ready to bring forth their version of Doc Ock and presumably Green Goblin.

Also, I have to say that of all the Rogue's Galleries out there, Spidey has some of the best bad-guy names in the business. They're so easy and to the point, and the overt corniness just works do damned well. They have a great childlike quality you don't see to many other places. The Flash enjoys the same advantage.
