www.kongregate.com/games/Shire…My coworker, Dayna Stevenson, and myself took a break and kicked out this gamejam project in a week.
Follow the quest of Algernon as he sets out to become a knight and earn the respect of his fellow countrymen (or just screw them over for fame and fortune).
It's a complete act of a point-and-click adventure (i.e. 1 town setting). yay!
We admit it's marginally unfinished (just in terms of art assets, cosmetic bugs, and 2 deleted puzzles), but the game's playable start to finish and we eliminated all the progression stopping bugs. Given what we did kick out in a single week, we're honestly a bit proud of it.
After judging's over we'll be updating it, and I'll be posting the complete asset collections over time.

For now, just restart the game and only click the chessboard once. Immediately after talk to the old man.
