yesterday's warmup doodle that got carried away.

Basically I was playing around with the Sexy Spy trope seen in most comic books (combining it with a few other things). Overall happy with her visual design (had to fight a lot of bad habits in order to keep it slick/streamlined) and will probably keep her around in Snow Bunny's world. For now I'm considering calling her either the Snow Ghost or Yuki Onna ... though that feels a bit on the nose (I guess no worse than Black Widow, really).

Any rates, here's the longer backstory ...

after WWI, Wilson (who really wasn't that great of a president, $12 bill and all) commissioned a League of Nations defense project to create a new line of super soldiers to act as peace keepers across nations. The theory behind it was that a number of Gods from Legend were humans that had undergone transformations to achieve their immortal status. Unfortunately a number of failures ensued, but after some trial a handful of successes were had (this woman being among them). What they found out, though, was that these successes had their personalities augmented as well (which explains the whole "god of this-or-that" obsessions), and among the successes were some rather nasty specimens (including a couple from future Axis nations). Naturally, due to these great risks the project was shut down and research destroyed (surprisngly successfully, as the specimens created did not have access to the research).

As for the woman, she kept with the official governments for some years before abandoning the bureaucracy. Currently she works for SOMBRA, a disavowed independent espionage firm that reports to no nation.
