So you are heading for autumn now, as snow is melting here, preparing for spring/summer, what a strange world !

Why, thank you, glad you like, and thanks for the feature. An Hexagonal room!?, sounds very interesting, but is it warmer?

I'm not sure...I have a dilemma! John is moving out so I can move rooms if I want and whoever we get in can take what they are given...his is smaller and awkwardly shaped, my stuff would all fit but I wouldn't have as much space. It still has a high ceiling so would be hard to heat but maybe being a smaller space would be better? My main attraction to it is that it has more windows, and they look out at the road rather than the yucky back of a building and let more light in. So:

Staying in my current room Pros:
Bigger, more floor space
Rectangular so easy to lay out
Quieter, less road noise

Moving to new room Pros:
More windows, better outlook, more light
More private, people coming to the flat don't see straight in
Smaller so possibly easier to heat? though more windows may lose heat too, probably about equal. But the sun will come in! which doesn't happen in my one.

I have to decide by the time we show people through tomorrow evening...ack!

Sun is good, private is good, curtains are insulating, smaller than your room at uni?, view is good, hope atmosphere is good at your flat too. don't agonise about your decision, it will work out.
My news is that my date for surgery is being brought forward from June 13th to, wait for it...TOMORROW, I go in to Grace Hospital at 3pm, out again Sat morn, in sling for 6 weeks, glad 2 be getting it done sooner.
Cheers and lots Love M&D

Yea neither room has curtains just blinds..I'll see what happens! Thanks xox
And WOW! I'm so glad you're able to get it done, will do wonders for morale to be on the way back rather than just waiting for the lengthy process to start. I will be thinking of you lots tomorrow, lots and lots of love from me!! Good luck and I know it will improve things for you xoxox I'm heading to bed now, but love to you and mum and keep me posted.
