Probably one of the hardest images to create as a single image, as well as one of the first. In my mind there are many different views and features that make up Rivendell. It was extremely challenging to put one down as a definitive image. That would also fit the required image dimensions.

When I look at this a can imagine myself walking through the valley...now which road to take...

So true it would be challenging. I'm a Elf Hunter in LOTRO and every time I ride down the mountain to Rivendell it is always breath taking. The road curves one way , then the other and so on and each time I see a different aspect of the valley.You did a good job of depicting one view of the valley. Beautiful painting.
